Thomas Wallace, President


Until accepting the position of president of the Independent Development Services Corporation, a SBA Certified Development Company, Mr. Wallace was the founder and president of Nova Financial Services, Inc., a bank consulting firm specializing in the delivery of government guaranteed lending programs. The company was one of the largest in the U.S. in this market niche. (See the Coleman Report 1/99 & 1/00.)

In 2000 he received the Financial Services Advocate of the Year Award for Florida from the SBA.

In 2004, Mr. Wallace won the Timothy J. McDowell Leadership Award from the National Association of Development Companies (NADCO). The award recognizes the contribution of an individual to the turnaround and success of a Certified Development Company on a national basis.

Also in 2004, Mr. Wallace won a 20th Anniversary Service Award from the National Association of Government Guaranteed Lenders (NAGGL) the SBA lender's trade association and was recently re-elected to the Board of Directors of NAGGL. He serves on the Membership Committee of NAGGL. He is also a NAGGL Instructor, teaching courses in Portfolio Management/Liquidation, as well as 504 Lender Training.

Mr. Wallace has extensive commercial banking experience with Citibank, amongst others, and has published in the RMA Journal and The Banking Law Journal on various SBA related topics. He holds an MBA from the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College (Concentration: Finance; Myers Award, Patterson-MacGregor Scholarship, Sherman Fellowship) and a BA from the State University of New York (Majors: Chinese Studies & Political Science; Magna Cum Laude, Regents Scholar.)

Margaret Guzinski, Senior Vice President, Loan Operations


Margaret has worked with the Independent Development Services Corporation since 2002. Prior to that, she had twelve years of commercial loan experience working with both large corporate banks and small community banks. She then worked for three years with Nova Financial Services underwriting SBA 7(a) and SBA 504 loan transactions. Currently, her responsibilities as Senior Vice President of Loan Operations, include management of the entire lending process and lender and borrower service. Margaret acts as liaison between the borrower, the lender, the SBA and the CDC. She is also responsible for oversight of the management of the CDC's loan portfolio. Margaret has an undergraduate degree in Finance from the University of Florida.

Eric W. "Ric" Miller, Vice President, Senior Underwriter


Mr. Miller has over 25 years of Commercial Banking experience within the Commercial, Real Estate, Private Banking, Upscale Consumer Finance, Loan Review and Loan Liquidation. His professional experience was developed with Florida banking institutions that include, Southeast Bank, N.A., SunTrust Bank, N.A., Florida National Bank and Chase Manhattan Bank. Mr. Miller's background exhibits strong underwriting and negotiating skills with borrowers and legal counsel in all matters pertaining to debt restructuring, collection matters, loan work-outs, bankruptcy filings and Internal Revenue Service audit and post audit negotiations. Educational background consists of a BA degree, majoring in Finance through the University of Central Florida, Orlando, Florida and Certificates in the Financial Planner Program through Rollins College, Winter Park, Florida.

William Ridgeway, Vice President


Mr. Ridgeway has over seven years of Banking experience in Commercial Lending and Credit Administration. He has been with Independent Development Services Corporation since June 2004. He holds the position of Vice President and is responsible for portfolio management, servicing actions, weekly reporting, loan packaging, and administrative functions such as human resources, information technology and accounting. His professional experience was developed with Florida banking institutions that include, Cape Coral National Bank, First National Bank of Florida and Old Florida Bank. Educational background consists of an MBA from Florida Gulf Coast University (concentration: finance) and a BA from Rochester Institute of Technology (concentration: finance). Prior to Florida relocation, Mr. Ridgeway's background includes management experience for a major glass manufacturer and a family owned machine shop located in Western New York.

Christopher Wallace, Vice President & Chief Technology Officer


Before accepting the position with Independent Development Services Corporation, Chris spent over fifteen years developing database driven applications in both the private sector and defense contracting. For the past eight years he has developed several successful Online Affiliate Marketing Systems that handled millions of customers on a daily basis.

Previous to his online experience Chris worked for the worlds largest defense contractor, Lockheed Martin, as both a Software and Systems Engineer developing training simulations for the Simulation, Training and Instrumentation Command (STRICOM, US Army). While working for Lockheed Martin, he developed patented distributed database fault tolerance algorithms and high speed network communication techniques in addition to being published over twenty times in the field of Real-Time Distributed Simulation.

Sharon Wagener, Loan Operations Officer


Sharon came on board with Independent Development Services Corporation in October 2006. She has over twenty five years of experience in the banking industry. Her background includes operations, consumer, residential and commercial lending. As Loan Operations Officer, Sharon is responsible for preparing loan packages for submission to SBA, updating borrower files, documenting CIP records, verifying files are complete for debenture funding, tracking outstanding SBA servicing items, maintaining insurance ticklers, and assisting the underwriters in any capacity needed.

Dan Regelski, Vice Chairman of the Board



Mr. Regelski is the Director of the Florida Gulf Coast University's Small Business Development Center. The Center has won numerous awards for its performance in support of small businesses in Southwest Florida. The Center has developed a particular expertise, under Mr. Regelski's leadership, in export promotion and disaster recovery.

Mr. Regelski is an award winning State of Florida Certified Business Analyst and experienced business professional with established liaisons and network throughout the Southwest Florida banking and business communities. He has taught at the collegiate level in several business-related areas, including entrepreneurial marketing, writing business and marketing plans and establishing small, home-based businesses. His private sector background includes extensive executive experience in retail operations management and human resources for major retail/wholesale chains.

Lester Clark, Secretary & Treasurer of the Board


Mr. Clark presently serves as a Vice President in the Home Builder Division of Bank of America in Fort Myers, Florida, lending to residential developers in southwest Florida. His banking career covers more than eleven years of experience in most aspects of commercial and small business lending. Mr. Clark holds a BA degree from Florida A&M University.
